Spanning Lucas’s three-decade career, this richly illustrated catalogue brings together seminal works in the series charting their evolution through the addition of colour, plinths and cast bronze, concrete and metal.

Michael Armitage’s large-scale oil paintings on lubugo (bark cloth) possess a seductive artistic beauty. At the same time, they generate an uneasy atmosphere, appear gloomy, sometimes disturbing.

In a modestly designed publication of exceptional format—inspired by the presentation of the works in the scaled-back architecture of Kunsthaus Bregenz—the paintings and drawings are shown to advantage on a large scale and displaying their full radiance.

The publication features around 50 significant works by Klein, and a number of richly illustrated texts by experts and artists.

The catalogue is almost an Yves Klein multiple. It is designed as a monochrome blue object, printed with an additional special blue colour, and bound with blue thread.

Everything in The Universe Is Unfinished

This new edition of a landmark publication by avant-garde artist and cultural icon Yoko Ono combines never-before-published texts and invitation pieces written in 2016–2018 with drawings from the ‘Franklin Summer’ series she started in 1994.

Coming after several volumes that have proved to be life companions to many, ‘Everything in The Universe Is Unfinished’ reflects on her most recent feelings through a delicate interweaving of poems, aphorisms, short stories, and drawings.

Deeper in the Pyramid, Share of Throat

‘Deeper in the Pyramid, Share of Throat’ is a graphic novel with writing by Melanie Jackson and Esther Leslie, published at the occasion of the ‘Milk‘ exhibition at the Wellcome Collection, 2023.

The novel is taking us on a journey of lactic abstractions, through the webs of bio-invasion and collective fantasy that interconnect various life forms through milk, its technologies and representations.

Heart-Turned-Inside-Out Poems

‘Rashid Johnson & Charyl Johnson-Odim: Heart-Turned-Inside-Out Poems’ contains poems by Cheryl Johnson-Odim, Rashid Johnson’s mother, which are accompanied here by a selection of Johnson’s drawings and a conversation between mother and son.

The conversation is about the culture in which Rashid Johnson grew up, with personal anecdotes, for example, about his teenage years as a graffiti writer, and their reflections on their lives and cultural shifts.

‘How We Hold: Rehearsals in Art and Social Change’ is an invitation to arts educators, facilitators, organisers and those who are interested in working collectively with others, who want to use creative practice to work towards change, through personal and social transformation.

Drawing directly from projects generated over a decade of Serpentine Education and Civic programmes, it gathers together project notes and documentation, conversations, commissioned texts and exercises to ask: Where do we go when things fall apart, when home has been taken away, when the cracks appear?
