When are the last order dates for Christmas 2023?

For international orders by courier for Christmas delivery: Monday 11th December 2023.

For UK orders by courier for Christmas delivery: Friday 15th December 2023.

Please note that we can’t account for any closures at third party freight forwarders or shippers used by international customers which may impact delivery dates at the end destination.

Postal orders, whether international or UK, must be with us as early as possible. As there is no tracking we cannot commit to Christmas delivery.

As always, our last order dates are a guide and not a guarantee. Orders submitted after these dates are very unlikely to make Christmas delivery. Our advice is to ensure that you get your orders to us as quickly as possible.

While every effort is made to ensure that prices listed are correct, they are subject to change at any time and without notice.

I am an EU customer. Will I have to pay extra delivery charges on my order?

Yes, if you select the courier delivery option.

There will be an additional cost from UPS of £4.15 per carton.

This cost will be clearly itemised for you at the Checkout stage of your order.

If you select the Royal Mail (Airmail) delivery option, there is no extra delivery cost (unlike the UPS).

I am an EU customer. Will I have to pay extra charges when I receive the order in my country?

Yes, possibly.

It is your responsibility, as the end customer, to clear customs and pay any relevant taxes.

Each EU country has its own charges for importing goods from the UK.

Please check the guidelines with your country's customs office in advance of ordering.

My order is worth over €135 / £135 including shipping. Will I have to pay extra charges as it takes me over the EU threshold?

If your order is worth €135 / £135 or more (including shipping) then there could be extra charges levied by the customs authority in your country, before you receive the items.

Again, please check the guidelines with your country's customs office in advance of ordering.

Any extra charges are your responsibility.

I am an EU customer and am ordering a non-book item such as a DVD or BluRay. Do I have to pay VAT and / or extra charges when I receive the goods in my own country?

If you are liable to pay VAT then a standard 20% charge will be included at the Checkout.

On non-book items you are also more likely to have to pay extra customs or tariffs charges when you receive the goods in your country.

Please check the guidelines with your country's customs office in advance of ordering.

Payments for any extra charges are your responsibility.
