Mounira Al Solh

13 April, 13 April, 13 April

Mounira Al Solh was invited by Museumsquartier Osnabrück to engage with the work of late artist Felix Nussbaum.

This artist book functions as a continuation of this exhibition and showcases drawings and texts created over the course of several months in 2020 – 2022.

While the artist found herself in time of imposed isolation due to the global covid-pandemic, the works reflect thoughts on the 2020 apocalyptic Beirut explosion, street protests in Lebanon and the Lebanese Civil war, which officially began on 13 April, 1975.
