Thomas Scheibitz, who first came to prominence as a painter, was born in 1968 in Radeberg. He now lives and works in Berlin and is prominently featured in the German Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. This is the first publication devoted to the artist’s sculptural work and is a definitive study with numerous colour photographs featuring over 50 sculptures and maquettes, and supplemented by photographs of the installation ABC – I II III from his exhibition in Geneva in 2004 and from the artist’s studio. This publication provides an exciting insight into the artistic work of Scheibitz. Includes biography and bibliography. English and German text
