Taken together, the prints, drawings, sketchbooks and rubber stamps that José Antonio Suárez Londoño has created since the 1970s form an immense body of work.
Suárez Londoño is a master of the various techniques required for each of these genres, all of which concentrate on the everyday and stand out through a distinctive iconography.
However, it is his indefatigable productivity in general that defines the originality of Londoño’s artistic practice: his daily and weekly routine, which simultaneously produces an inventory of the world and a personal diary.
Factors such as learning, experience and imagination play a very big role in the artist’s work.
