Interarchive: Hans-Peter Feldmann

Archival Practices and Sites in the Contemporary Field of Art

essays by Franz Ackermann, Robert Flenck, Gilbert & George, Renée Green, John Latham, Olaf Nicolai, Harald Szeemann and others.

Since the 1980s the Düsseldorf artist Hans-Peter Feldmann has been known for working with ‘archives’.

Together with students of the University of Lüneburg and with colleagues and curators, he has now started a broad reflection on how archiving processes can be opened.

This richly illustrated catalogue, which gives ample information on many headwords, shows archives as places of social and discursive acting as well as of the production of meaning.

English and German text.
