Richard Prince is one of the most innovative and influential artists of our time and can be variously described as a painter, photographer, sculptor and collector.
His work makes use of an eclectic range of approaches to explore his fascination with Americana, pop culture, art, literature and language.
This is a specially commissioned artist’s colouring book for children to accompany the Richard Prince: Continuation exhibition. Within this, a selection from Prince’s Hippie Drawings series have been chosen to create a unique introduction to the artist’s work for young people.
Published on the occasion of the exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery, London, June – September 2008.
