Both the 5th Biennale and its catalogue aim to trace the diversity of art practices today.

This lavishly illustrated publication takes the form of a source book bringing together artists from different generation and nationalities.

With texts by authors such as Georg Simmel, Oksana Bulgakowa, Bettina Vismann, Jürgen Mayer H., Pelin Tan, Beatriz Colomina, Francis Ponge, Dieter Roelstraete, Ruben Santantonin, Boris Arwatow, Francis Ponge, Robert Walser, Rachel Haidu, Konstantin Waginow, Brian Dillon, Henry Green, Georges Didi-Huberman, and Robert Walser.

Also with contributions by artists such as Michel Auder, Marc Camille Chaimowicz, Susan Hiller, Cameron Jamie & Keiji Haino, Gabriel Kuri, Babette Mangolte, Ahmet Ögüt, Katerina Šedá, Piotr Uklanski, among many others.
