Bertrand Lavier is a multidisciplinary artist. He uses various techniques such as painting, sculpture, photography, and more recently lights and music. He enjoys transforming usual objects or pop culture icons into works of art. Through his work, he invites people to question the very nature of art.

He began to work on the Walt Disney Productions in 1984. After reading an adventure of Mickey in a Modern Art Museum, he decided to realise the paintings and sculptures that were in this fictional museum. By reproducing these pieces at their real scale, he made them become art. Afterwards, the works were exhibited all around the world.
