A lavish 464-page publication documenting Wade Guyton’s celebrated 2019 retrospective at Museum Ludwig, this second volume was designed to accompany the first: a comprehensive catalogue of exhibitions published at the time of the exhibition.
This new book contains over 200 installation views–taken by professional photographers as well as the artist himself– which provide a circular walk-through of the exhibition and highlight its unique non-chronological structure.
Also published are three dynamic lectures about Guyton’s work by Bettina Funcke, Jeanette Mundt, and Kirsty Bell.
Wade Guyton’s expansive survey exhibition, ‘Zwei Dekaden MCMXCIX-MMXIX’, included 112 paintings, 92 drawings, 22 sculptures, and a room of books, posters, and special editions from over twenty years of production.
