This book brings together recent work by the British photographer Toby Glanville, made in the south east of England.

Like the best photographs, Glanville’s restrained and delicate colour images – combining portraits with reflections on places – are both simple and densely weighted with the complexities of time and space.

His setting for the work is largely rural, and yet here he generates a response to people and their traces that is entirely contemporary and compelling.
