Can we still define sculpture in any meaningful way? Does sculpture now mean everything, or nothing?
These were the questions posed by Penelope Curtis (Curator of the Henry Moore Institute) to three artists invited to select works for an exhibition at the Henry Moore Institute in 2002: Joëlle Tuerlinckx (Brussels), Tobias Rehberger (Frankfurt) and Keith Wilson (London). The artists, meeting regularly over the course of a year, drew from their very different standpoints towards art to bring together 30 artists whose work continues to fascinate and help define sculpture as it is now.
