I was lucky enough to see one of Tal R's 'Sex Paintings' in Copenhagen (makes me sounds more exotic and well traveled then I am!) and I stood looking at it for a very long time. Beautiful work as ever, but this series is a particular treat - Claire, Staff Pick
The book ‘Sexshops’ is a publication of 99 drawings made by Tal R in the period from 2014 to 2017.
Tal R has made drawings based on different storefronts of Sexshops all over the world. Some of them are derived on photos given to Tal by his students from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, some are made from Tal Rʼs own memory and others are made from personals friendsʼ descriptions.
