With 365, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt will present the biggest project of Radenko Milak’s to date.

The series of 365 black and white watercolours was created on a day and night basis throughout the year 2013. Every piece refers to a ‘planetary event’ (Radenko Milak).

War and peace, art and culture, science and technology, space travel and natural disasters exemplify the subject matter. Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia, and time and again, the Balkans, make up the spatial frame of this historical calendar.

The stills, or static motion pictures of historical or modern historical events, are taken up via means of Realism and Abstraction, and from time to time even Surrealism.
