Olafur Eliasson, one of the most acclaimed artists of our times, and David Adjaye, a shooting star on the architecture scene, have collaborated for a unique project that this book impressively documents.
The light installation, Your Black Horizon, by Olafur Eliasson was presented at the 51st Venice Biennale. In close collaboration with Eliasson, David Adjaye created a space in which art and architecture are grasped as an inseparable unity. In-depth essays and large-scale picture-spreads shed light on the central aspects of the project.
The book has been published alongside a re-presentation of the work on the Isle of Lopud, Croatia, in June 2007. The collaborative project was originally commissioned by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary and inaugurated in June 2005.
