Michel Majerus (1967-2002) left behind some 50 notebooks in which he recorded reflections, elaborated working processes, and sketched pictorial ideas.

This publication presents for the first time three notebooks from 1995, for Majerus a path-breaking year of self-discovery as an artist, and places the reception of his work on a new footing.
