This Michael Craig-Martin colouring book was produced on the occasion of the artist’s exhibition ‘Michael Craig-Martin: Transience’ at the Serpentine Gallery, London (25 November 2015 – 14 February 2016).
The exhibition brought together works from 1981 – 2015, including his era-defining representations of once-familiar yet obsolete technology: laptops, game consoles, black-and-white-televisions and incandescent lightbulbs.
Craig-Martin’s work has recorded the profound impact that electronic technology has had on the way we consume and communicate.
For COLOURING Craig-Martin has selected a number of objects familiar to children.
