Rudi Fuchs shows prints by Donald Judd and Arnulf Rainer in an intense and concentrated dialogue.
The intimacy of print brings out their artistic positions with great clarity: Donald Judd strives for precise equilibrium and always looks for the perfect balance between colour, line, surface and form. Arnulf Rainer’s work, conversely, is characterised by energetic and animated strokes and flowing colours.
What they both have in common is the continuous search for new routes for their art and their ongoing engagement with print media.
