This publication accompanies Ikon’s exhibition ‘Carlo Crivelli: Shadows on the Sky’, 23 Feb— 29 May 2022.

The exhibition was created in partnership with The National Gallery and was the first exhibition in the UK dedicated to the work of Renaissance artist Carlo Crivelli.

The catalogue surveys Crivelli’s work through a detailed analysis of the 10 works included in Ikon’s exhibition and essays which explore works further afield.

Appendix includes reprinted essays by Audrey Flack and Jonathan Watkins.
