Installations from 1960 to the Present

Lygia Clark, Cildo Meireles, Ernesto Neto, Hélio Oiticica, and Neville D’Almeida, are among the Brazilian artists, whose works helped to define the term vivencias (life experience).

Their installations formed the basis for the exhibition at the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair, giving a thorough overview of the history of art installations in Brazil using numerous historical photographs and documents as well as recent works shown in the exhibition.
