ARTfresh2 celebrates the creativity of recent art and design graduates who were born or have studied, lived and worked in Essex. At a pivotal moment in their careers, this initiative aims to support, develop and promote the best emerging artists from the county, with the intention of creating new opportunities for their future professional development. From over fifty applications, these nine artists were selected for the quality, innovation and originality of their work. They all demonstrated a commitment to building a career as an artist. As a group, they reflect the broad disciplines of current contemporary art and design practice, ranging from drawing and painting to performance, film and installation.
