Conceived as an immersion in the artwork’s atmosphere, the book gathers together never-before-published photo-documentation on the three ‘Mirage’ installations, drawings, and other material related to the project, a comprehensive text by Neville Wakefield, as well as an interview with the artist on the history and evolution of ‘Mirage’.

Featuring cold foils, special inks, silver printing, and bound as a leporello to reflect on the mirror-like quality of ‘Mirage’, the book is a limited edition of 1000 that will become a collectible volume.

Facsimile of the 1959 English edition

Hauser & Wirth reanimates Marcel Duchamp’s seminal book—his first monograph, with its faithful reproduction of the 1959 Grove Press edition with the design firm fluid, who recreated the original typefaces as digital fonts, positioning each letter and image exactly as they were in the original.

The title originally became the go-to book on Duchamp for decades following its publication in late 1959.

While Trianon Press’ French trade edition was reprinted numerous times, the Grove Press English edition languished out of print for the better part of two generations—until now.

ZKM | Karlsruhe, together with the Joseph Beuys Estate, has been working for 4 years on this DVD edition of all available audiovisual recordings of Joseph Beuys’ action art. With support from the Kunststiftung NRW.

This DVD edition presents for the first time all significant actions of Joseph Beuys. Film and video documents that were difficult to access and believed to be lost have been discovered, restored, digitized, and partially reassembled; thus these DVDs contain new editions, first releases, and bonus material.

A Master of Modernism

German artist Hermann Glöckner (1889–1987) is preceded by his distinctive reputation as an ‘artist’s artist’.

In this richly illustrated and exquisite catalogue, examples of his early Tafelwerk (Panel Work) from the period between 1930 and 1935 are presented together with a group of his Modelli (Models) of the 1960s and 1970s, which can be understood as drafts for the large-format, sculptural folded works he conceived.
