HOME’s Spring – Summer Season 2018 now launched

Have you worked it out yet? Well, if not, let us spell it out to you (again!): We are part of the amazing art centre called HOME, here in Manchester. We show theatre, films, visual arts, music and interesting ‘cultural’ events galore.

Why not have a look at the HOME website, and explore for yourself?

Just in case that doesn’t excite your appetite for more, HOME has just released details of the new Spring – Summer 2018 Season, running February to September 2018, so that you can now plan way ahead and not miss out on getting your tickets.  For a taster, look at this trailer link, or download their new season magazine.

And as if that isn’t enough, here is an inkling of what HOME is actually all about…

‘Talent, both established and emerging – it’s the engine that drives everything we do. Whether staging plays, working with artists or with young people, HOME is a platform, a laboratory of ideas and a place where the best creative work can be made and enjoyed by everyone.’ Dave Moutrey, Director and Chief Executive

If you look carefully at the new season brochure the groundbreaking productions of HOME Artist Films feature large, as do HOME’s very own published titles, and Cornerhouse Publications even gets a mention! #WeArePartOfHome

There’s so much to look forward to here over the coming months, including innovative theatre shows (like critically acclaimed ‘Circle Mirror Transformation’ or ‘The Tiger Lillies: Corrido De La Sangre’); film seasons (for example ‘One Film Wonders’, ‘Harry Dean Stanton:Wild at Heart’, or our annual ¡Viva! Festival 2018); and exhibitions (‘Noor Afshan Mirza & Brad Butler: The Scar’, ‘Louis Henderson: Overtures’ and ‘John Walter: A Virus Walks Into A Bar’), to name but a few….and we also have our very own independent bookshop.

…So head over to HOME some time soon, to find out what you are really missing out on.

If you are not based in Manchester, then do come for a visit. It is the place to be!
