HOME’s Autumn Winter season

A little while ago, our colleagues here at HOME announced their new Autumn and Winter season in ART, CINEMA and THEATRE (plus the rest), so we thought it only fitting that we should share all that we have on offer with you:

‘Music that leaps from Lahore to Longsight. Boundary-breaking theatre fresh from the Fringe. Orchestral dreams come true, and others shattered by revolution. New commissions rooted in India, Hong Kong and Turkey – Art, in fact, in all its diversity and vibrancy….’

Go to this link to find out more, and to download the new season magazine and explore it all in more detail. You can also watch the season trailer and book your tickets.

More specifically, HOME Publications highlights for the coming season include the forthcoming Subkultura by Artemy Troitsky, which is published to coincide with HOME’s exhibition to mark 100 years since the Russian Revolution: The Return of Memory (HOME, Sat 21 October 2017 – Sun 7 January 2018).

‘Unofficial histories, suppressed memories and strategies of resistance all converge in our new major group exhibition, which seeks to redress the legacy of the Russian Revolution on its centenary by exploring how contemporary artists are responding to the state of the ‘New East’ today.’

We also eagerly anticipate the release of the DVD/Bluray version of HOME Artist Film‘s latest production, Edith Walks: A Film by Andrew Kötting that has just had its general theatre release.

‘Edith Walks is a 60 minute 66 second feature film inspired by a walk from Waltham Abbey in Essex via Battle Abbey to St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, in Southern England.’

“One of Summer 2017’s best movies.” – The Guardian

“Film of the week: Edith Walks makes England loopy again.” – Sight & Sound

“I loved it to pieces.” Mark Kermode, BBC Radio 5 Live

All exciting stuff that makes us proud to be a part of HOME too!
