New Matt Mullican show opens this week at Camden Arts Centre

This week sees the opening of a new Matt Mullican show, The Sequence of Things, at Camden Arts Centre, London (30 September 2016 – 8 January 2017). Go and take a look!

According to the CAC website, ‘Inspired by Camden Arts Centre’s history as a public library, The Sequence of Things layers Mullican’s multiple methods of categorisation and ordering. Mathematically dividing the architectural spaces, the galleries will be laden with his book works, pin-boards, posters, drawings, flags, objects, photography and videos, all depicting his various maps, charts, diagrams and symbols. Together, the plethora of works demonstrates his attempts to find methodology behind the relationships at play in the world around us and its representation.’

If you want to find out more about this artist’s work then link through to the newly available Matt Mullican title, Rubbings 1984-2016, just published by JRP /Ringier in collaboration with Kunstmuseum Winterthur.

And don’t forget these two Matt Mullican backlist titles that are both available to purchase from our list; Matt Mullican: Conversations (DuMont Buchverlag) and Matt Mullican: That Person’s Workbook (Ridinghouse).
