Helen Marten show at Serpentine Sackler Gallery this autumn

Turner Prize 2016 nominee Helen Marten is an extremely busy artist this year. Not only is she featuring in Tate Britain’s Turner Prize 2016 shortlist show  (27 September 2016  – 2 January 2017), she’s also showing her work at Serpentine Sackler Gallery around the same time (29 September – 20 November 2016). This exhibition, which is entitled Drunk Brown House, features new works and there is to be an artist’s book to go alongside.

So head along to Central London this autumn and check both these shows out, for a ‘double whammy’ Helen Marten-filled visit. It will be interesting to see how the two different venues show off her different works.

Whilst there, you may want to ponder: Does she deserve to win the Turner Prize this year, and what about the inaugural 2016 Hepworth Sculpture Prize, that she has been nominated for too?
